Hello,I’m Monique Lula the creator of Glowies® Glow in the Dark Jewelry & Art.
Hi there! In my Glowies Universe, you’ll find magical fantasy stories, art prints, home decor, and my special glow-in-the-dark jewelry. My name is Monique Lula, and I’m an artist originally from Los Angeles, now living in New Orleans. I’ve been a working artist since the 1990s, when I created custom fabrics like hand-dyed velvet, silk, and linens for interior designers. I even made velvet bedspreads and pillows! It was a fun time, but when the fabrics I used were no longer made, I shifted my focus to jewelry design.
Today, I have my own line of glow-in-the-dark jewelry called Glowies® and create lots of glowing, magical art pieces. I’ve also started sharing fantasy stories to bring the magical world of Glowies to life. I combine pictures and text to weave tales inspired by my creations.
